Both of these posts, about Alzheimer’s patients and flower gardens, are so interesting. They also are helpful reminders that even though their memories are waning, Alzheimer’s patients enjoy beauty, if for fleeting moments, which often may stimulate memories. If they’re able, yes, involve them in the gardening. I’m going to call attention to them at Alzheimer’s Notes. I’m sure some of my readers will consider them handy reminders of activities they can involve their family members in.
